The "Bouda Sestidomi" chalet is located in the central area
of the Giant Mountains just outside the well-known mountain resort of Strazne
near Vrchlabi.
The chalet lies at the altitude of 825m above
the sea level right next to a hiking path to Plane and Spindleruv Mlyn.
It is ideally located for hiking and biking trips of both moderate and
longer lengths and as a base for car trips through the entire area of the
Giant Mountains and their surroundings.
The accommodation is in 2- to 4-bed
bedrooms, each one with its own bathroom and shower. Guests can borrow
TV sets for their bedrooms to watch regular and satellite TV programs.
Guests are also allowed to bring their dogs to the chalet.
Meals are available
with the option of breakfast and dinner only or a full meal option (breakfast,
lunch, and dinner). Breakfast is self-served (via
a buffet-like arrangement), lunch is served with soup, and dinner includes
hors d'oeuvres or desserts. The option of breakfast and dinner only has
soup for dinner. The dining room is equipped with a TV set. An adjacent
restaurant and bar
(open also to outside visitors not accommodated in the chalet) offers a
full menu of meals and a selection of soft and alcoholic drinks.
During
winter, the resort of Strazne offers several slopes for skiing with ski
lifts and artificial snow (if needed), and a modern snow tubing facility.
There are also two short ski lifts in the direct vicinity of the chalet.
Guests can rent ski equipment in the chalet. The resort of Strazne also
offers the services of a horse farm for horse
riding trips around the area and a sports facility with tennis courts.
Beside recreation, the chalet provides an ideal venue for various training
courses, seminars, school trips, and wedding celebrations.
